Immersing in virtual art and nature – 2025 DOK.fest München in cooperation with XR HUB Bavaria and Die Neue Sammlung presents three artistic Virtual Reality experiences and an Augmented Reality application at Futuro-Haus. The VR Pop Up Cinema is funded by the Bavarian State Chancellery.
In CITYFLOW – LOOMITS MÜNCHEN by Carl Amadeus Hiller, Janis Winkler, Sheila Uschkurat and Stefan Göppel, we get to know the city through the eyes of the graffiti legend Loomit, meet in Gerda Leopold's SCHIELE – EINE PERSÖNLICHE BEGEGNNUNG IN VR the world-famous expressionist shortly before his death, deal with body politics in DUCHAMPIANA by Lilian Hess and go on an expedition into the magical deep sea in CURRENT by She’s excited, Anke Schiemann and /p – in visually and narratively diverse forms of representation.
