Opening Anniversary exhibition
40 years DOK.fest München: EYES WIDE OPEN
To mark its anniversary edition, an exhibition showcases impressions and festival posters from the history of DOK.fest. For 40 years, DOK.fest München has helped shape the cityscape—and the city, in turn, has influenced the festival. This dynamic relationship is captured in countless photographs taken by festival photographers, as well as in the design of numerous festival posters. Venues, infrastructure, people, and trends are all reflected in this visual journey through time. Organized by DOK.fest München in cooperation with the Münchner Stadtbibliothek and the Münchner Volkshochschule, the exhibition highlights the festival’s evolution and diversity over four decades—always guided by its enduring motto: Eyes Wide Open.
