The Russian opposition figure Alexei Nawalny was poisoned with Novichok in August 2020. Two days after the attempt on his life, he was evacuated to the Charité Hospital in Berlin in a critical condition and he returned to Moscow in January 2021. Daniel Roher
The Jewish-Canadian documentary filmmaker Daniel Roher founded his film production company right out of high school in 2011. He studied creative writing and film at the Savannah College for Art and Design for three semesters before devoting himself entirely to filmmaking.
