Professorin (Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film)
Sylvia Rothe ist Professorin für KI in der Medienproduktion an der Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film München. Sie studierte Mathematik in Berlin und arbeitete dort als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin. Sie besuchte mehrere Filmemacherkurse und machte 2011 ihre Leidenschaft für Filme zum Beruf. Im selben Jahr war sie Teilnehmerin der Ausbildungsinitiative „European Social Documentary“, die sich auf innovative Erzählmethoden konzentriert. Während ihrer Tätigkeit für eine Münchner Filmproduktionsfirma realisierte sie verschiedene VR-Filmprojekte und kehrte 2017 in die Forschung zurück. Ihre wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten wurden auf verschiedenen Konferenzen vorgestellt und in wissenschaftlichen Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht.
