Opening Keynote

Prompting a new language for cinema | DOK.forum Industry Training Talk in partnership with Documentary Campus and in cooperation with Bayerischer Rundfunk

In this opening keynote producer Mads Damsbo will reflect on the complex and delicate process of making a film written by an AI trained on the body of work of Werner Herzog. He will touch upon the potential of human-machine co-creation and its limitations, and ultimately try to give an answer to the question on everyone’s lips – what is our role as filmmakers in the age of artificial intelligence?
