In this long-term documentation the lust for learning is astonishing – it gives hope for alternative education.
Maria Knilli
Born in 1959 Maria Knilli studied at the University of Television and Film Munich. Since 1980, she works as a freelance filmmaker for documentaries and feature films and also stages plays at the theater. Furthermore, Knilli is teaching at the University of Television and Film Munich as well as at the film academy Baden-Würtemberg. She has received multiple awards for her work and in 2006 founded her own production company in cooperation with her husband, called Tittel & Knittel Film Productions
