ITZEL MARTINEZ DE CAÑIZO, Born in Mexico City in1978. Studied communication studies at UABC in Baja, California. Has worked since 2000 on collaborative documentary film projects that explore different ways of working and means of expression. She founded the creative label Cuarto Propio, teaches at UABC and is co-director of a post-production studio. Her films have been screened at various festivals.
