FLOTEL EUROPA was a container ship that accommodated hundreds of war refugees from Sarajevo in Copenhagen in 1992. For Vladimir, his mother and older brother, it was their new home, too. VLADIMIR TOMIC – Born in Sarajevo in 1980. Vladimir Tomic was born in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in 1980. In 2002 he attended CPH Film & Photo School in Copenhagen. From 2003 to 2009 he studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. From 2008 to 2009 he was an exchange student in the art and digital media department of the Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien. Vladimir Tomic lives and works in Copenhagen.
