Biography
Arash T. Riahi has lived in Austria since 1983, studied film and humanities and is co-founder of Golden Girls Filmproduktion. In addition to short films and commercials, he has made numerous television documentaries and three cinema documentaries, including EXILE FAMILY MOVIE, in which Riahi portrays his politically heterogeneous and geographically dispersed extended family. His work as a director and producer has been honoured with international awards.
Verena Soltiz works across genres as a director of documentaries, music videos and advertising films. She began her career as a director at ORF. Her commercials, music videos, TV visuals and documentaries have been honoured with the German Advertising Film Award and at the New York Film Festival, among others. Her first documentary film 1:1 - THIERRY HENRY premiered at the Tribeca Cinema in New York.
