A boy is allowed to go out hunting for the first time with his big brother. A scientist attempts to complete his life’s work. In the vast Yakutian wilderness, their paths cross. Little by little, the melting permafrost lays bare its treasure: mammoths.

Liesbeth De Ceulaer

After studying at the Brussels School of Art, De Ceulaer worked as a freelance filmmaker. Her work straddles the boundary between documentary and fiction and explores the complex interactions between people and their environment.
