After the devastating 2008 earthquake in Southwest China the Qiang had to relocate. Tunzi Gao strikingly portrays their search for gods, spirits and ancestry in their new and old homes.

Biography

Tunzi Gao is a Chinese photographer and filmmaker. In his work he places special emphasis on the promotion of cultural heritage and documents mainly ethnic groups in Tibet and the Qiang.
