Aïcha, Johan, Mirjam and Franco are Swiss and converted to Islam as adults. David Vogel, the director, grew up Jewish and now calls himself an atheist. He is annoyed by the heated debates about Islam on television and asks his protagonists about their motives.
We present the international premiere of the film at DOK.fest München 2020 @home.
Biography
After working as a radio journalist, filmmaker David Vogel studied documentary film at the HFF Munich from 2002 to 2010. He lives in Zurich and works as a writer, director and journalist.
