A WOLFPACK CALLED ERNESTO
France, Mexico, Switzerland 2023 – Director: Everardo González – Original language: Spanish – Subtitles: English – Length: 78 min.
The drug cartels in Mexico have an inconceivable amount of power – especially over young people, who see them as an opportunity for a little bit of self-empowerment. A WOLFPACK CALLED ERNESTO, with its vivid experimental narrative style, makes it painfully clear that the price they pay for this is violence and that ultimately the opposite will occur. Samay Claro
Note: This film deals with explicit violence and death.
