Harriet and her brothers grew up in an old English manor house surrounded by legends, myths and a virtually inexhaustible wealth of family stories. Amongst old books, Japanese porcelain and relics of their childhood, the siblings find out that it is not just the house, but also themselves, who have been shaped by these stories. Ludwig Kramer

Biography

Suzanne Raes studied cultural studies in Amsterdam and worked as an editor for television. She has been working as an independent documentary film director since 2001. Of her award-winning works, CLOSE TO VERMEER was shown in German cinemas.
