DOK.forum at MCBW – Film meets Design

The digital age increasingly binds listeners and viewers in the development process of histories and stories . The medial approaches are varied, formats mix up and users and usability move into the focus of media professionals .

Whether it's film or design, new collaborative formats are etablishing, in connection with internet platforms and digital means of production , which involve the future user in the product development . This development leads filmmakers, media professionals and designers to similar questions about the further development opportunities of creative work.

The DOK.forum has invited ARTE Community Manager Jonas Schlatter Beck and the Design theorist Karianne Fogelberg  ( cx Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich ) to start the dialogue between film and design in the context of the Munich Creative Business Week.

CATHEDRAL OF CULTURE in 2D. Renowned directors set off to capture the spirit of famous buildings. With episodes by Wim Wenders, Michael Glawogger and 
Michael Madsen (OV: German).

As part of the installation `Metropolitain Fictions´ extracts from the interactive webdoc HIGHRISE and the real time documentary 24H JERUSALEM will be presented in a special screening room. Free admission during exhibition hours !
