Maria Galliani Dyrvik

Maria Galliani Dyrvik grew up between the Norwegian fjords and the Italian Alps of Piemonte. With a background in creative writing and directing, her animations and short documentaries have been screened at international festivals, including Interfilm Berlin, and Nordisk Panorama. Maria has co-directed the web-doc series VI E BRANN, a portrayal of a tight-knit female football team nominated for the Norwegian media prize 2023. With her projects she’s taken part in EsoDoc and Torino Film Lab TFL NXT. HOPE IS A WORD is her first feature documentary.
