Mario Pfeifer

Mario Pfeifer ist a PRIX EUROPA nominated producer and director whose works have been screened at IDFA, Vision du Réel, Dok Leipzig et al. His film CELL 5 won the Hessian Film Award in 2023. Mario is a Fulbright and DAAD alumni and attended the Berlinale Talent Campus, the Feature Expanded Masterclass, the Documentary School Masterclass and the Europe Creator’s Lab. Mario graduated from the art academy Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main and studied film at the California Institute of the Arts master program. Several monographs by Sternberg Press and Mousse Publishing haven been published on his works. Mario was an artist-in-residence at the ISCP New York, Gasworks London and Cité Internationale des Arts Paris. He is a member of AG DOK and founder of the production house blackboardfilms.
