Studied music and journalism. Expert in digital transformation, integrated media and interactive media perception. After several positions in radio and TV at home and abroad, he has been editor and multimedia coordinator for BR since 2001 and was appointed digital expert for BR in 2015. Since 2003, he has also been a study programme director at University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. He is a member of the management of the Institute for Cultural Management and Media as well as a representative in the MedienCampus Bayern e. V.
