Maren Willkomm

Maren was born and raised in Munich. She studied American cultural history and communication studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. For several years she was an enthusiastic film jockey in local cinemas. Among various cinéphile activities, she has worked in film journalism, organisation and photography for DOK.fest Munich since 2005. Since moving to the film department of the Goethe-Institut in 2015, she has been exclusively active as a member of the festival's viewing team.
