Michael Kohl

Programmer, author, Filmdienst, Kino-Zeit and Münchner Feuilleton

Studied art and cultural history in Augsburg and subsequently theatre, film and television criticism at the HFF Munich. He is currently studying for a Master's degree in Film and Media Culture Research at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. Parallel to his studies, he completed internships at the Filmmuseum Munich, the Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Goethe-Institut San Francisco. Since 2019 he has been working as a freelance film critic for Filmdienst, Kino-Zeit and Münchner Feuilleton. In 2022 he is part of the external programme team for the first time.
