Programme selection, Q&A Coordinator

Studied German and philosophy in Würzburg and Vienna. Worked as a projectionist and at various film festivals – Filmfest Hamburg, Filmfest München, Filmfestival Max Ophüls-Preis Saarbrücken, Deutsches FernsehKrimi-Festival Wiesbaden – among others as a programmer, moderator, coordinator, organisation manager. From 2002 to 2016 permanent freelancer (including cinema programme planning and film archive) at the Deutsches Filmmuseum / Deutsches Filminstitut Frankfurt am Main.

Since May 2016 Moni is managing director of Filmstadt München e.V., the umbrella organisation for the independent film festival landscape in Munich, to which DOK.fest München also belongs. She is part of the DOK.fest programme team since 2016 and responsible for the coordination of the moderations and the Q&As.
