Filmfestival network DOC AROUND EUROPE – United for a strong European documentary film
Initiated by DOK.fest München in 2020, the new network DOC AROUND EUROPE (formerly: FestDocsEurope) brings together six relevant documentary film festivals throughout the continent.
The common goal is to promote and circulate European documentary films and experts and to accompany them at all stages of production and in all aspects of distribution, promotion and presentation.

DOC AROUND EUROPE launches VoD-platform: a new showcase for emerging documentary filmmakers
The festival network DOC AROUND EUROPE is launching a new platform dedicated to up-and-coming European documentary film. To kick off, the platform is offering a curated selection of 40 short and feature-length films for 5.00 (feature) resp. 2.00 euros (short), with a further 40 to be added each year. For industry professionals, streaming the films is free of charge.

Joint industry programme: mentoring & practice talks
Mentoring programme
Focus on young European filmmakers: Participants go through an intensive mentoring programme between Biarritz and Skopje throughout the year.
Practice talks
In times of great upheaval in the film industry worldwide, DOC AROUND EUROPE focuses on international networking and active exchange on the central issues of the future of documentary film.
