OZOGOCHE
Belgium, Ecuador, Qatar 2023 – Director: Joe Houlberg Silva – Original language: Spanish – Subtitles: English – Length: 77 min.
“Oh beautiful Cuvivíe,” the children of the Ozogoche community in the Ecuadorian Andes sing about the culturally-significant birds that come from afar every year in September only to inexplicably plunge into the water of the nearby lake and die. The film authentically captures the beauty and barrenness of this remote culture and landscape. Dayela Valenzuela
