Yen was born in Germany, her parents in Vietnam. Since studying in Norway, she understands how hard it is to build a new life in a foreign country with a different language. Yen learns to categorise her identity, her fears and also her strengths.

In a 90-minute workshop in the extracurricular learning environment cinema, Schule des Sehens shows an age-appropriate short documentary film on the big screen. In teamwork, students answer various questions relating to topic as well as style of the respective film, accompanied by film experts trained in media education.

The educational programme of Schule des Sehens is only available in German language.
