Freight trains travel through the endless snow. Not far from the tracks children dressed in camouflage play war. In Murmansk on the border between Russia and Norway, boys and girls serving in the army cadets are trained to use weapons – in the soft crepuscular arctic light.
We present the German premiere of the film at DOK.fest München 2020 @home.
Biography
Ksenia Okhapkina studied at the St. Petersburg State University for Film and Television. Since 2014 she has been working for the Estonian film production company Vesilind. IMMORTAL was awarded Best Documentary Film at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2019.
