26th DOK.fest, 4th to 11th May 2011

We are looking back at a very successful DOK.fest 2011. More than 12.000 visitors went to see 183 screenings on 9 screens. We have been visited by a number of directors from all over the world who proudly presented their films and had inspiring discussions with the audience.

Our new DOK.forum section, introduced this year, was meant to give the audience as well as trade and business professionals a chance to discuss the background and perspective of documentary film production. In line with this media and industry platform, for the first time there was pitching event for film students with an award, worth 3,000 Euro, granted by Bayerischer Rundfunk and Telepool GmbH.
