Opening Event 25th DOK.fest

The Opening Celebrations of the 25th Munich International Documentary Film Festival will be taking place on Wednesday 5th May from 20:00hrs in City 1. The welcoming address will be given by the mayor, Christian Ude. The opening film DER BERGFÜRST by Philip Vogt will have its world premiere at DOK.fest Munich. It is a thematically and filmically remarkable piece about a family in the North Albanian mountains torn between tradition and modernity. We plunge into a foreign and fragile world; a world of yesterday, that tomorrow will be no more.
